Dr. Coogan is a general surgeon who completed internship and residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas, and is currently completing a trauma and surgical critical care fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed medical school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Passionate about acute care surgery and surgical education, his goals are to work at a high-volume academic surgical center to help educate training surgeons in the fast growing field of acute care surgery and surgical critical care.
