Ectopic Pregnancy

An ectopic pregnancy is when a fertilized egg (called an embryo) attaches itself outside of the womb. It is a serious condition that can cause severe abdominal pain and heavy, life-threatening bleeding.

Ovarian Cyst

Ovarian cysts are common, usually don’t cause any symptoms or problems, and go away on their own. Symptoms vary depending on the impact of the cyst on surrounding structures and include a large amount of bleeding, pain after sex, severe pelvic pain, and other symptoms.
